STAR Arts Summer is excited to nowadays Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical JR., the 60-Minute Broadway Junior Version of the honor winning show. The STAR summertime musical is directed by Ms. Dana Severin who is planning fun filled acting workshops and creative theatre games to build confidence and operation skills in singing, dance, motility and acting. This summer volition be a fabled experience for STAR actors onstage and their families and friends cheering them on in the audience.

STAR Video Kids will larn the nuts of teledramatic pre-production, scriptwriting, production, postal service- product, editing and distribution of content they create for our digital world. The prefix "tele" is added to reference the fact that content created by writers today tin can exist viewed live onstage or sent "at a distance", making the writer's creative piece of work available to many audiences, any time and anywhere in the earth.

STAR Arts Interns piece of work for STAR Gilroy's Summer Theatre Arts Mean solar day Camp have multiple roles and responsibilities equally STAR Teaching Artists/ Unit Leaders/ and Phase Production staff.
Primal Responsibilities:

Comprehend and embody the STAR Mission, Vision, and Core Values

Provide supervision and be responsible for the condom and well beingness of Star Kids at all times.

Completion of CPR Training is required and will be provided past STAR Arts.

Function as a mentor and office model to Star kids.

May be cast to perform in the summer musical.

Help in all aspects of production every bit assigned by STAR Arts Administration.
Requirements:

Must take completed a STAR program (VAP, STAR Theatre plan, workshops, etc.)

Oak Tree Garden for Summer '22!
The cast and product staff for the Winter Showcase gathered nether the Oak Tree to participate in a "Salutation to the Sunday" and acknowledged the Popeloutchom (Amah Mutsun) as the indigenous tribe who provided stewardship of the state, we telephone call Oak Tree Garden.
STAR Arts welcomes STAR kids, families and friends to our new outdoor location, Oak Tree Garden. We are in the process of converting the area into a STAR rehearsal infinite for both theatre and video! We are currently under construction, but the space volition be ready for STAR kids to relish for our summertime programs!
STAR is grateful for the support of our STAR Arts Board, Informational Board, and the STAR parents of our very start STAR cast who apposite at Oak Tree Garden.
Land Acknowledgement
It is important to STAR that as we go along to learn and grow, and so exercise our practices. As we expand into our new STAR property, Oak Tree Garden, it is important that nosotros are knowledgeable of the history of the land on which we reside.
Let's accept a moment to acknowledge the land nosotros are gathered on. For thousands of years, this land has been the dwelling of Ohlone people, specifically the Popeloutchom (Amah Mutsun) Tribe. They are part of the Mutsun Nation, which at in one case was comprised of some 22 Primal Coast tribes.
The Popeloutchom people have remained committed to the stewardship of this land over many centuries. It has been cherished and protected, as elders have instructed the young through generations. We are honored and grateful to be hither today on their traditional lands and will make it a priority to learn and teach the history of this country.
